Fastum

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 11, 2026 · Last updated: August 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fastum ("the App", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with your use of the App. Fastum is provided by Yurii Moskviak. By creating an account or using Fastum, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

In short: Fastum uses an account so your fasting data is saved and synced across your devices. To do that we collect your email (for sign-in), your name, your profile, and your fasting history, and we store them securely in our cloud backend. If you subscribe to Fastum Pro, RevenueCat and Apple manage your subscription status — we never see your payment details. We do not use advertising and we do not use third-party tracking or analytics SDKs — we do keep a handful of anonymous counters of our own, so we can see where people get stuck (details in section 2). We do not sell or "share" your information, and Apple Health data is never used for anything but showing it to you. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the App.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Fastum mobile application. It does not apply to Apple's App Store or to any third-party services you may separately choose to use.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run your account and sync your data. We organize it below by category (aligned with the U.S. state-privacy categories and Apple's App Privacy labels).

Account and contact information.

Health and fitness information.

Profile and other content you provide.

Apple Health (HealthKit).

Identifiers.

Purchases.

Local notifications.

Diagnostics.

Product-interaction events (our own, no third parties). So that we can tell where people get stuck, Fastum records six moments — finishing the setup questions, creating an account, starting a fast, completing a fast, seeing the subscription screen, and completing a purchase. Each is stored on our own servers with nothing but the event name, the app version, the time, and a random identifier generated on your device. That identifier is not your Apple ID, not an advertising identifier, and is not linked to your account, your name or your email. It lets us count people rather than taps. It is never used to track you across other apps or websites, and it is never shared or sold.

Sign in with Apple tokens. If you sign in with Apple, we store a token issued by Apple for one purpose only: so that deleting your account can also revoke Fastum's access to your Apple Account, as Apple requires. It is deleted with your account, and it is used for nothing else.

What we do NOT collect. We do not collect precise or coarse location, contacts, browsing or search history, financial or payment-card information, biometric identifiers, advertising identifiers, or any data for cross-app or cross-site tracking. Fastum contains no third-party advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above only to: (a) create, secure, and operate your account; (b) store your profile and fasting history and sync it across your devices; (c) run your fasting timer and schedule local reminders on your device; (d) respond to your feedback and support requests; and (e) maintain, secure, debug, and improve the App.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to create your account and provide the App); our legitimate interests (to keep the App secure and working and to improve it); your consent (for example, for optional Apple Health access, which you may withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.

5. How your information is stored and who processes it

Your account, profile, and fasting history are stored per-user in our backend, which is operated for us by Convex, Inc. ("Convex"), acting as our data processor. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and hosted on infrastructure located in the United States.

We share information only with:

Each of these providers is bound by contract to protect your information to a standard the same as or equal to the protections described in this policy, and to use it only to provide the service on our behalf.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing.

6. No sale or "sharing" for advertising

We do not sell your personal information and do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or similar U.S. state laws. We have no actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

7. Sensitive and health information

Your fasting activity and weight are health-related and, under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA and GDPR, may be treated as sensitive personal information. We collect it only to provide the App's core features to you, we do not use it to infer characteristics for advertising, and we do not sell or share it. Apple Health data is subject to the additional restrictions in Section 2.

8. International data transfers

Because Convex, RevenueCat, and Apple may process data in the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in a country different from where you live, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are applied by those providers.

9. Data retention

We retain your account and fasting data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account in the App, we delete your profile, photo, fasting history, and account records from our backend, except where we must retain limited information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis in the ordinary course.

A note on the anonymous counters. Because the product-interaction events described in section 2 carry no account identifier, they cannot be located and removed when you delete your account — there is nothing in them tying them to you. They are kept for at most 12 months and then deleted.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls on our backend. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and you are responsible for keeping your device and account credentials secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

11. Your privacy rights

You can access and edit your profile and fasting data directly in the App, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Me → Delete account.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, the UK, or U.S. states such as California), you may also have rights to: access a copy of your personal information; correct or delete it; port it; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law, and you may appoint an authorized agent where permitted. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

12. "Do Not Track"

Fastum does not track you across other apps or websites, so it does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

13. Children

Fastum is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Fasting is not appropriate for children, and users under 18 should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian and a healthcare professional. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and we will highlight material changes in the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after an update indicates your acknowledgment of the revised policy.

15. Contact

If you have questions or requests about this policy or your information, contact us at support@yuramoskviak.com.
